CPL 2.0 RSS

The few sights that I do visit on a regular basis do not have RSS, so I added a co-worker's blog and the CBC Calgary site, to see how it all works. I can see this being very useful for someone needing to keep up-to-date with information. I will try to look for the RSS icon when I am looking at websites to see if it is something I will use.

CPL 2.0 Google

I found some interesting stuff on Google that I did not know was there. I have used Google maps and images frequently, but now I am going to take a closer look at Google Books and Reader. Picasa looks like it might be something to take a look at as well.

CPL 2.0 Social Networking

I already had a Facebook account that I use very infrequently. It has been nice to use to catch up with some old friends that I have lost touch with, but it is not something that I feel the need to use on a regular basis.

CPL 2.0 Wikipedia

The few articles I checked were okay spelling and grammar-wise, but much of the information I certainly could not verify myself. The fact that anyone can create a wiki and put any info in it does concern me. I have only ever looked at Wikipedia because I was curious, but probably would never use it if I was looking for very reliable information.
